SURGERY
Whether your pet requires surgery or any other procedure involving anesthesia, such as dental care or wound care, your pet's well-being is our primary concern. Our surgery suite allows us to perform sterile surgical procedures in an environment dedicated to your pet's safety. Our technicians are highly trained to provide the best in patient care and monitoring. Proper sterile technique and intensive monitoring insure the highest safety for your pet. Electrocardiogram and respiratory monitoring, along with blood pressure monitoring and pulse oximetry are integral parts of anesthetic monitoring. In addition, our circulating warm water table cover helps maintain your pet's body temperature to ensure a smooth recovery following anesthesia. All animals are connected to an IV (intravenous) catheter to recieve fluids during anesthesia. This helps maintain blood pressure and gives the doctor immediate access should IV drugs be needed during surgery.
Minimally invasive surgeries are also performed in this surgical room. Endoscopic equipment, along with multiple monitors allow excellent visualization during laparoscopic procedures.

DENTISTRY
Our hospital prides itself on providing high quality dental care for your pet. We have a designated section of our treatment area just for dentistry. All patients are closely monitoring with heart rate monitoring and respiratory monitoring, along with pulse oximetry while under anesthesia during the dental procedure. Our patients are also kept on a warm-water blanket to maintain proper body temperature while under anesthesia. Our digital dental x-ray allows us to accurately monitor and document the health of your pet's teeth, even below the gum line where we cannot see. All of our technicians have undergone special training in dentistry.
